What to expect from your naturopathic consultation
Your initial consultation will take between 90 - 120 minutes. During this time I will gather detailed information about your current health concerns, any past health conditions, patterns of illness and any significant family health history. Using just a drop of blood from your finger tip I will also perform a live blood analysis which when viewed under my specialised microscope allows me to assess the health and function of red blood cells, white blood cells and other blood components. Using a specialised camera I will also capture an image of each eye to study the iris. This is call iridology and it is used to understand the general health constitution of each person which can indicate common health patterns. It can also provide insight into the health of tissues and organs as specific areas in the iris relate to areas in the body.
Live blood analysis and iridology are fantastic information gathering tools which are why they form part of your initial and at least one follow up consultation.
We will discuss the objectives that you want to achieve and the areas that I believe need to be supported. I will then formulate a treatment plan to meet these objectives that suits your health, lifestyle and budget needs. Treatments may include nutritional supplements, herbal medicine, homeopathic remedies, movement or body work recommendations, and diet and lifestyle advice.
